Housed in a Socrates cigar box is Daiber’s guillotined 1966 Boy Scout manual, surrounded by material collected from his land. Scouting provided a moral code for life, a passion for the out of doors, community and guide for work as an artist. Daiber received the Eagle award, working with scouts in Delaware, Canada, Brooklyn, Washington DC, and Western Massachusetts as an adult leader.
